Monica Bremner, RN, brings 25 years of nursing experience to the Saints Peter and Paul school community. Mrs. Bremner completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Scranton. She attended New York University receiving her Master of Arts in Nursing Education. Mrs. Bremner has held multiple roles as a nurse. While primarily caring for the sick in the Critical Care setting, she has also taught nursing at Loyola University Chicago and has worked as a nurse manager at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Most recently, Mrs. Bremner has worked as a trauma nurse clinician at Good Samaritan Hospital. She looks forward to promoting the physical, mental, emotional and social health of the Saints Peter and Paul students. She believes the opportunity to be a nurse at a Catholic school to be an extra blessing, as it will allow her to serve and care for students who are taught daily about the presence of God in their lives and in the world. Mrs. Bremner sees this position not only as an opportunity to use her nursing skills to serve the school family, but also to enhance her own spiritual growth and enrichment.
Mrs. Bremner is an East Coast transplant, having been born and raised in Rockville, Maryland. She has lived in the Chicagoland area for the past 20 years, and in Naperville for the past 14 years. She and her husband, Mike, and their four children are SSPP parishioners. Their older two, Luke and Anna, are recent graduates of SSPP, while Molly (7th grade) and Clare (5th grade) are current SSPP students. As products of Catholic education themselves, Monica and Mike feel blessed to be able to share this gift with their children.
The Saints Peter and Paul family has long held a special place in her heart, and now Mrs. Bremner is very excited to play this larger role in that family. She looks forward to showing your children love and care as she tends to any medical needs they may have.
